This walking trail is the last remaining section of Old County Road #59. The path follows the edge of Liberty Bay with views of the Poulsbo Marina and Mt. Rainer in the distance. The other side of the trail is a wooded brushy area that has trees from the original homestead’s orchard. The farmhouse still stands just up the street with the old chicken coop buildings and a rope swing in a huge Maple tree.
The cache contains only a log sheet and pencil.
As long as you are in the neighborhood, check out “The Old Nelson Farm” cache, just up the road.
