Respryn River Bridge
The cache was created by 'Jeb_Co' because when they first came to Cornwall from Yorkshire over forty years ago, they enjoyed the coast and going to the beach, but missed the woodland and small rivers of their native county. When they discovered Respryn River Bridge with the river Fowey running under it, it reminded them very much of their former home. |

Respryn River Bridge |
You can treat this as a cache and dash, but if you wish, you can take time to walk along the riverbank, downstream through the woods or upstream towards Bodmin Parkway Railway Station; with Geocaches in both directions !. If you have longer to spare, pay a visit to Lanhydrock House, which has a Geocache series of its own 'Robartes Ramble', and excellent cafe. . |
Cache Information
|
The cache is a small lock & lock container with a log book and pencil and room for a trackable. At the cache site, gps reception is poor although your gps should take you to the exact spot. The approach to the cache may be slippery after rain. Warning:- If the river level is high you may have to paddle. If the river is in full flood or fast flowing, do NOT attempt to reach the cache . |
