Geocache Description:


I drove by this road for about the last 7 years and never knew this was back here. The cache is located back near the levee. If coming from Jonesboro you will cross the St. Francis River at Lake City. You will notice that there is an abandoned vertical lift bridge that was built in 1934 and it is now preserved. The old bridge was replaced in 1998 by a 4 lane bridge. The old bridge was demolished except for the section that is now a part of the historical bridges of Arkansas.
