Millenium Trail Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wizard of Ooze: As the cache owner has not indicated that they have visited the cache location to replace it if missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within the requested time period, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities.

If the cache owner would like to replace a cache at this location, please submit a new geocache listing and it will be reviewed under the current geocaching.com guidelines. Please don’t post a note on your archived listing as it won’t be forwarded to me and I won’t see it. If you need to contact me, please do so by emailing me through the contact link on my geocaching.com profile page or through my website www.wizardofooze.com

Thank you for your contributions to geocaching, and we hope to see you actively geocaching once again in the near future.

Geocache Description:

A nice way to spend an evening if you don’t have dinner plans. Take a stroll or a bike ride, find a cache and enjoy a dinner at The River House. You can start from either end of the trail.

Park at the suggested coordinates which is Nielson Grove Elementary School (N49 06.325 W123 04.427) and proceed to the south side of the property to find the trailhead.   Stroll along the Millennium Trail and watch out for flying golf balls that occasionally come over the fence as you walk by the Cove Links golf course.  As you approach the posted coordinates you must be thinking to yourself, wow, so many places to hide a cache, where could it be?  Once found you can continue your walk to The River House (N49 06.932 W123 03.707) for dinner or you can start with dinner and have a nice after dinner stroll to the cache.  The trail is a level packed gravel path and is easily navigated.  This area can be quite busy on a nice summer's evening with foot and bicycle traffic.

The cache is a small Lock & Lock, painted and marked with geocaching markings it is full of goodies including Canadian Geocoin #4413.  Please be very careful when retrieving and replacing the cache to return it exactly as found
