Floyd Von Haden Traditional Cache

Located near the Floyd Von Haden boat landing and recreation area. This is now a LOG ONLY geocache.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CLOSE THE CONTAINERS TIGHTLY!
The area is prone to flooding and water can get into the cache. If you find that either of the Ziplock bags have ripped, please replace them or send me a message.
Froggie and I hid this cache within a short walk from the boat landing parking lot. It is an easy walk but if the river comes up a foot or so from it's current flood stage, it could be a bit of a soggy walk at the end. Regardless of the season, I wouldn't wear your sunday best. :-)
We didn't look around much but this recreation area is suppose to have an outdoor exhibit that interprets 12,000 years of Native American and Euro-American trade, travel, and settlement on the Lower Wisconsin River. Visitors will also learn about the covered bridge and 7-span truss bridge that once spanned the river at this location.
