The cache is hidden on the Sefton Coast in pleasant woodland
A suggested parking place is at Freshfield Station. Whilst the train station car park is for rail users only you can also park next to car park, both free.
Walk along the path next to the railway line until you come to the level crossing. Take GREAT care at this open crossing and then follow the public footpath "Fishermans Path" across the golf course towards the coast and cache. It makes a great short walk. It is a mile from the suggested parking point to the cache. If you carry on from cache to the beach you can come back along Fishermans Path making a nice loop.
The tree density at the cache is such I could get a GPS signal no problem but may be patchy along the route.
There is no need to cross any of the fenced areas to find the cache.
The cache is in a small container and with room for only the smaller of travel bugs.
