ORIGINAL POST: The cache was a medium Tupperware box with original contents that included: Yoda figurine, dragon, old maid cards, ouncy ball, police car, fish pen light, and other stuff we can't remember. This was our first geocache, so comments are welcomed! There is an small entrance fee to get to the cache, but the views are well worth it and some of the historical knowledge you'll pick up on a self-guided tour are surprising.
2020 UPDATE: IT WAS LONG OVER DUE....WE FINALLY MAINTENANCED THE CACHE AFTER 14 YEARS ON 9/5/2020......YAY!!! ENJOY! THANK YOU FOR FINDING OUR GEOCACHE OVER THE MANY YEARS! STEELERCACHE. My daughter (Hannah) and her best friend (Jessica) (H&J) hid their first cache here over 14 years ago. Fun to go back with my daughter and her little brother (his first find). Original tupperware was still intact...barely. Only the original log book was intact, but thanks for the logs!!! Fun to read after 14 years! Replaced the cache with a new plastic ammo box with some small stuffed animals. New log book. Please log in!!! Watch out for official muggles on the lookout!! Placed this cache when there was no "official trail" so sorry for the rule breaking. The area used to be just an open space to explore. Thought about moving this, but the cache was there before the trail or any fences were placed. It's been the cache's home for a long time and we felt anything closer to the trail would be found by the rangers. The cache is not far off the trail so please be respectful and cautious. If you don't want to go off trail, please look at the hint.
