On Cutoff Road, look for a sand castle. Easy park, easy cache but as always watch when you retrieve something that has been sitting outside.
Each year Port Aransas has a SandFest on the beach where huge sand sculptures are crafted. This location has kept up that spirit the rest of the year with smaller sand sculptures. Cache is a small snap and lock plastic container with log, pen and swaggies. Management has given permission for the cache to be placed here.
2/24/07 Replaced muggled cache to a new location. The owner asked that a note be added. "STAY OUT OF THE SAND AREA WHERE THE CASTLES ARE BUILT" This is the only way I can keep the cache at this location!
