Geocache Description:

A shortish walk on well-defined footpaths. Terrain is mostly level.

A fairly short walk along well defined footpaths over the moors close to Ryecroft and towards Cullingworth. The paths lead to an old, disused quarry so care should be taken at all times. Please note that it is NOT necessary to go into the quarry hole to find the cache, despite what your GPS may tell you. On a decent day there should be stunning views over Cullingworth and the surrounding area.

The cache is a 1.5L snaplock container which, when placed, contained a FTF certificate, a TB and a Geocoin in addition to other goodies, together with logbook and pencil.

We hope you enjoy the hunt and please replace the cache carefully. Enjoy the views and wildlife; we saw skylarks and stonechats, plus owl pellets...
