This tupperware cache is located along Pout's Pond in Uxbridge, MA.
It is the 2nd incarnation of my You Better not POUT! which
got muggled. This actually is a better walk around the Pond.
Mugglings happen for a reason, I guess! If you stay on the trails,
the terrain is about a 2, if you try to bushwack, it'll boost to a
3 or 3.5 in my book.
Pout Pond is located off of West River Road near the Countryside
Farm and Garden store on Route 16 east of Uxbridge Center. From
Uxbridge Center, take 16 East about 1.5 miles. Turn left on West
River Road. About 1/4 mile down the road, the entrance to Pout Pond
is through a fence on the left. Parking at N 42 05.194 W 071
36.481. This park is open from Dawn to Dusk only.
The best way to go to the cache is via a quick trail at N 42 05.183
W 071 36.540 to a frontage road that heads up to the Pout
Recreational Field. In the back parking area, there is a trail that
will lead you most of the way to the cache, which is about 100-150
feet off the trail.
You can bring your family and your furry friends here too! In the
winter, when the ice is safe, you can bring your skates and have
some fun! In the summer, it looks like this is a town swimming
beach.
Please rehide this cache in the same place, and as good as you
found it to prevent ANOTHER muggling. THANKS!
