Geocache Description:

This is part of a series of caches dedicated to the former Presidents of the United States of America.

This cache is in honor of Dwight D. Eisenhower, 34th President. Well, I must say that I have absolutely no memories of presidents from this long ago. As we go further back in history, I'm having to resort to some of those "little known facts" sites: Theodore Roosevelt was the only U.S. president to deliver an inaugural address without using the word "I". Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Dwight D. Eisenhower tied for second place, using "I" only once in their inaugural addresses. Military leader and 34th president of the U.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower loved to cook; he developed a recipe for vegetable soup that is 894 words long and includes the stems of nasturtium flowers as one of the ingredients.

This cache is hidden on one of those cool trails that connects two Durham parks. You'll have to go off the paved trail for a bit. You are looking for a clear plastic container.
