NOT a park n grab. Please dress for a hike. Park behind the Pleasant Hills Municipal Building which is on the same road as the Hoss's near 51.
Trail head is located between the salt dome and the basketball court. Look for the white markings on trees that mark the earlier parts of this overgrown, used-to-be trail. It's not necessary to go anywhere near playground equipment to obtain this cache. However, nearby is THE COOLEST playground EVER. If you have kiddos (or access to any)bring them along if they're up for a bit of a bushwack. That way you'll be able to play in the kingdom which I have dubbed myself ruler of.
In the warmer months, bring towels and bathing suits. There is an awesome sprinkler system here. Have fun!
