Another City of Norfolk boat launch in Suffolk?
This cache is located in what has to be the most scenic area of Suffolk. The cache was named because of the Horseshoe Falls shape of the spillway. This cache started out at the nearby boat ramp and was moved here when construction began because the lake was drained and the boat ramp closed. During construction the gates near the cache were open and was the only public access. Now there is still a place to safely pull off and you won't have to venture beyond the gate to retrieve the cache. I'm not a tree expert but I'm pretty sure that pecan tree is about 100 years old.
The cache is a micro, only big enough for a log so BYOP.
