Geocaching: An Adventure for All Ages Event Cache

Wow! A geo-friendly parks department in the East Bay!

9AM-11AM: Geocaching: An Adventure for All Ages, sponsored by the Township of Danville in Oak Hill Park. We will provide a tutorial on geocaching for local residents followed by a cache hunt. Volunteers are needed to help out, please let us know in advance (we need a good mix of religions, both Garmin and Magellan).

11AM-1PM: For those of you that are just interested in socializing, a traditional geo-potluck-picnic, coin swap, and cache hunt will start at 11AM. Please bring a dish to share (there are three small grills on site, we will bring charcoal). We will also be bringing papergoods, soft drinks and snacks. The Danville Parks dept will supply bottled water.

We will be hiding some new caches in the park prior to the event.
