Adopted from canoe_goddess on 11/27/06. Another small cache located in Lettuce Lake Park. This will take
you off the main asphalt trails and boardwalk.
***Again - This cache has been found by over 700 cachers, most with no problems but multiple cachers have reported yellow jackets and getting stung - reported 12/2014 and 7/2105 ***
***Please remember to replace the container upright so contents remain dry especially in the rainy season***
For those of us that enjoy easy nature walks. This area allows you a little break from the roller bladers and joggers that frequent this park. However, you might run into some cross-country runners on this part.
It is much easier to spend more time here if you enjoy watching the critters that live in the park and on the Hillsborough River.
Please take proper mosquito precautions as West Nile carrying mosquitos have been found in this park.
New coord 3/12/08. Changed coord again 9/23/08. No need to leave the trail or walk through the palmettos.
