Geocache Description:

Easy Traditional cache a short distance off of the Yellow Head Highway.

This cache is a 1.8L Round Lock N' Lock container. It is hidden on the back side of Devil's Hill. Please park near the picture attached to this posting. There is no need to enter the school yard so please do not unless school is over. Watch out for muggles on your way to the cache. We got wet feet hiding this cache but it will be dry soon. Plus I think that if we had came down off the hill we would've been dry, rather than heading up. Devil's Hill is an area where for generations, people from my (Sask-girl)hometown area have had lots of recreation. The area used to be used for sledding, quiet walks, weiner roasts, cross-country skiing. Several years ago the farmer who owned this land sold it so the town could make a golf course. The stipulation was that the hill still had to be available for people's use. The golf course has been a great addition to the town, and the hill is still there but I think you would sled there at your own risk because there is a bunch of equipment etc at the bottom. Anyway the top of the hill is still a great place to watch the sun rise. If you have time try out the golf course b/c its a nice one. Also feel free to follow the walking paths and have a gander. You can bring your dogs but keep them off the golf course if you wander that way. Thanks! When we were kids my Dad told us that the reason they call it Devil's Hill is because the Devil lived under the hill. I'm not sure where this came from or if its even true of how the name came to be but that's what my Dad said he was told when he was a boy.
