in our disclaimer.
Boot up your Google Earth, line up all the caches and come to a
decision. Take the hike for a few or the bike for a bunch.
The Mud Bay Dike has been greatly improved in the last few years
and you can now go from Mud Bay Park in Surrey all the way to
Tsawwassen. Along the way you will have a nice hard packed trail to
walk or ride on. The distance is about 13 miles each way. There are
quite a few caches along the route. If you really feel energetic,
take a side trip to visit “Udderly Ridiculous”. The
whole route is entirely flat and unless the wind is blowing it is
an easy ride. If the wind blows, it is really easy going with the
wind and the other way – well you will see if you dare.
If you decide to bike the route, lunch is always nice in Tsawwassen
where you will find a cache rich environment. DO NOT stop on the
road to get this cache.
This one gets you up the trail a bit and the cache started with a
tire repair kit for the bikers, band-aids for the hikers as well as
other trade goods.
