Cache is located off Brown Hill Road in Sugar Grove Township. This cache is on our own private property : Indian Rock Farm, and should be an easy find.
My husband and I are professional soil and water conservationists. We both love the outdoors and we have dreamed of one day owning a farm of our own since we were young children. We bought the farm in the late 1980’s after working hard for a number of years and saving our money. Since then we have been slowly improving things. We have improved the drainage in the crop fields and controlled erosion on them. We have fenced the pasture and developed a water system for the pasture. We also built some wetlands and improved our woodlands. But we still have a long way to go.
One of the things we both felt strongly about was leaving our land open so others could enjoy it too. We welcome you here, but we only ask that you respect the flora, fauna and land. We hope that you enjoy your visit!!
For your safety, please wear hunter orange during hunting seasons.
Directions to the cache: Park at N 41° 54.643’, W079° 18.958’ on Brown Hill Road. You can turn onto Brown Hill Road from either Chandler’s Valley or Youngsville. (Brown Hill Rd, although not marked itself, is across from Rounds Hill Rd in Chandler's Valley. In Youngsville, take Highland Ave and it turns into Brown Hill Rd.) Please park along the shoulder of the road. Do not drive or park in the fields. Do not block the driveways to the fields. We would also appreciate it if you would walk along the edges of the cultivated fields to minimize crop damage. Thank You!!!!
