Nice walk through a beautiful Salt Pond area
As the owner of Pittig Ding we got a lot of hints that the area is very beautiful, but that the last part to the Pittig Ding Cache is hard to reach. So we decided to put a second cache in this indeed very nice area. This one is placed very near to a path that is used by mountain bikers and hikers. If you start your walk at coordinates 12°04.909N, 68°52.396W (Jan Thiel Area) you can make a nice rond trip of appr. 1 hour. When you are at the cache, just go ahead on the same path (don't go back) and you can get up the hill back to the road on the path next to the powerlines. If you are at the cache you are appr. at 30-40% of the path.
