Hilly Terrain with grass, rocks, trees, steep area with loose soil
and dense undergrowth. You are looking for a camo'd medium sized
lock-n-lock. Use caution - area could be difficult to approach at
times. Could be onlookers so watch for them too.
The nearby pathway is a quiet and peaceful walk in this
smal western town. During the 8 months of off peak season it is a
small town area - during the summer, the Black Hills become quite
busy with tourists everywhere. My wife and I perfer to see the
Hills and not the people. We come up this way several times a year
for vacation and now often for business as well. We have for years
commented on the lack of caches in this area and we hope to help
fix that. Enjoy the walk and the sounds of the nearby river and
then try to enjoy some time in the Hot Springs pool that feeds into
the river and are nearby. Steep but short hike from any nearby
parking and very well hidden. The slope may make GPS signals a bit
off but keep looking and you will find. Please re-hide well.
