I remember when this used to be the city dump, when I was a kid;
nowadays, this area is now a terrific park, with a spacious
off-leash dog area, and lots of room for caches.
Sadly, while there is lots of room for caches, there're only two
currently in the park: Emerald
Nuts, and Dog
Day Afternoon - that last, by the way, is one of the oldest
caches in Berkeley, maybe even in the entire East Bay.
This being so, I will have on hand a number of ready-to-go
caches of different sizes, complete with logsheets, to give away
one to any cacher who's willing to trek out into the park and hide
it. All you have to do is bring a little swag, and your best hiding
ingenium. That, and whatever food and drink pleases you, though as
with the caches, some will already be on hand.
Festivities commence on 5/21/06 at 10:30 or so, will go until
we've had our fill of food, drink, company, and caching.
Please join me!
And please RSVP, so that I know how many caches to make.
