A Moderate Manoeuvre (m)near M(n)ochdre Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

TheMessyCrew: Went up earlier this week to remove the cache as no-one was really visiting this cache anyhow as its a Multi. I couldn't find it! I last hid it under a disused stile (the gate is always left open) between two of the fields and next to the deer paddocks of the zoo. Thanks to all who visited.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This quick to complete multi-cache takes you on a walk up along the boundary that Mochdre shares with Colwyn Bay through some woods, up a steep footpath to a viewpoint where you can see over Mochdre, the A55, the Carneddau mountains, the River Conwy and Conwy Castle. You may also see some interesting animals! I saw (not joking and I'm not on drugs) Przewalski Wild Horses, Fallow Deer and Ostriches!

Plenty of parking on the road right next to the start co-ordinates. The walk follows a public footpath. Stick to the edge of the fence when you come out of the woods and you will be following the Public Right of Way.

FIRST CACHE
The co-ordinates for the first cache will take you to a number of steps. Count up the total number of steps from the tarmac (there is a small shallow step at the beginning). Remember to double check!

You will end up with a number, AB.

Your co-ordinates for the next cache are:

N53* 1(4+A).(4+A)62
W3* 45.(B)(B+6)4

The cache is a camouflaged plastic box containing all the usual goodies of geo-fun and a log book. I won this ready prepared cache box (I just needed to paint it, think of a good place to hide the cache and think of a wacky name) when attending the event GCT6CC G:org's Cathedral of the Canals. It pleases me even more than Mancunian Pyrocacher was amongst the first visitors to this cache!

Not everyone may have noticed but geocaching.com has a disclaimer which covers your outdoor obligations. Paragraphs 2 and 4 are of interest to the cache hunters out there. Please feel free to read sometime.
