Round the Hood Multi-Cache
HighCountryAdmin: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

This is a 5 stage multi-cache. It will take some time to visit all the stages and find the cache. Cache is a small tupperware container, good for small items and TB's. Bring your own pen!
Access to all stages is by public roads, parks and open space. Parking is available on public roadways. This ain't no "cache and dash".
Worse case scenario makes this a 3/3. Depending on how you attack it, it should be less. A hill could be a problem as well as mud. If things go right it could be done in less than an hour. A person would walk it, but I would recommend driving.
Start at the coordinates listed above, you will find a notation left by a Boy Scout Troop. Change the troop number using this formula to get the latitude of stage 2. There is also a 4 digit number, use it to get the last digits of the longitude of stage 2.
Using the 3 digit number find for the following
N 39 35,abc
a= from the first digit subtract 4
b= from the second digit subtract 3
c= what is the third digits square root, squared
Using the 4 digit number
W 105.0e.fgh
e=the first digit + the United States/10
f=the second digit X 3
g=the third digit + (12-4)
h=the fourth digit + the square root of 36
At stage 2 locate a written communication delivery receptacle. Find the 6 digit serial number.
Add the first 3 digits of the number to the last 3 digits of this latitude. N39. 34.865, This gives you the latitude of stage 3.
The longitude for stage 3 is W105 06.713.
At Stage 3 you will find the coordinates for Stage 4.
At Stage 4 you will find the coordinates for the cache container.
The container at Stage 3 is a 2x3 inch mint camoflaged mint tin.
The container at Stage 4 is camoflaged 35 mm film canister.
