Geocache Description:

This is a roomy cache that is kept secure with a lock. It is a great resting place for weary travel bugs. Although the cache is easy to find, I have added some puzzles you will need to solve before you can find the location of the cache.

The coordinates above will take you to a marker with the name of the homestead. From there, look around until you find the 5 digit number of the homestead.

This number is critical to finding and opening the cache. The coordinates for the cache are in a small container nearby. This container is in plain sight, but nearly invisible. Use the following clues to find the container:
  • C represents the direction to travel:
    • 1 = North
    • 2 = South
    • 3 = East
    • 4 = West
  • BC is the distance (in yards or paces).

Once you find the container with the coordinates for the cache, BCDE is the combination to open the lock on the cache. To open the lock, set the combination and the push the lock together to unlatch. Spin the number dials before your try to close the lock again.

NOTE: Don't be afraid of the people in the houses--they know what you are doing. Just smile and wave!
