The Atsion Ranger Station is the “unofficial” meeting place for many members of the South Jersey Geocachers to rally before heading out to hit caches in Wharton. The “official” gathering spot, as all SJG’ers know, is the Pic!
Recently, after a long day caching with our grandchildren, we stopped at the Ranger Station for a restroom break. Our youngest grandson, exhausted from a lot of hiking, sat down against a tree and exclaimed, “Pop-pop, I’m pooped out!” To remember that fun day, we planted a cache in this frequently used field.
This cache is a d-con container which holds a logbook, pencils, and a couple of small swap items. Stealth may be required when searching for this cache. So, get all rested up and meet up with some family and friends at the unofficial meeting grounds for a day of caching, and then make it official by celebrating at the Pic!
Please, no spoiler photographs or logs (even if encrypted). It detracts from our intentions for the cache.
