How's George N Archie? Multi-Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Take a journey to this quiet farming community
and at the same time take a journey back in time. This area offers
many things of interest to the cacher, so Snuva thought she'd start
things off by setting a multi to get you exploring this town full
of Georgian architecture. So get out of the cacheMobile, stretch
the legs, and walk around to find these clues.
It doesn't matter what order
you do the first few waypoints in, but if you’re not paperless the
following table might help you in taking notes. Use this table to
note the letters against their corresponding numbers as you go
(note: one of the numbers is not used; some of the numbers can be
found at more than one of the waypoints):
In the beginning. . .
S42º 23.033 E147º 00.500
Stone was
unveiled (Month = C) (Day = EH) (Year = EDBE) to mark the
completion of this tower.

As you
drive up to the next waypoint please take care not to run into
Bothwell's last surviving hitching post! This will put you in front
of an interesting building, which was constructed for the
Commercial Bank of Tasmania's Bothwell office. This is a wooden
structure, however has a lot of detail that you would expect to see
on a stone building. Divide the 3rd letter in the large numbers at
the top of the facades to get A.
. . .and now the cache!
