This is not your typical hide. I say that so you don’t rush out and
drag the squids along hoping to find a few Mctoys for the playpen.
By the same token, if you do go, bring the kids, because they
should have a great time watching you.
I also know that simply by announcing this is atypical, a few will
venture out just for that reason.
With hides like this, proper removal and replacement are crucial.
Don’t screw it up. If you do, fess up and I’ll come to your aid.
I never know where the lines of “terrain” vs “difficulty” are
drawn. I’ve tried to rate this to the best of my ability. Please be
safe. I did my work from the ground.
There is a nice flat trail all the way up to the cache. You can
walk or ride your bike right up to it. I came all the way from the
FW Rowing Club parking area on Beach Street near Gateway Park. I’m
sure you can park real close to the cache, but I don’t know where.
An interesting note about the area. Just west of the cache, you
will see a business that sells and services portable dumpsters.
Look closely in their yard. Isn’t that a drive in theater? Ah…
