Crawfordsburn Country Park offers a variety of surroundings from the beach and grassy areas which are popular for picnics and bathing in summer, to the woodland glen, the enormous viaduct carrying the Bangor to Belfast railway and the picturesque cascade at the top of the glen.
The cache is a regular tabloc box and is situated in the Country Park near the Scout centre. Sturdy footwear is advisable as the ground can be muddy.
Having found the cache you may wish to explore the wooded glen with its numerous paths or proceed to the beech for a coastal walk towards Bangor(turn right)or Helen's bay (turn left).
