Geocache Description:

Part of Silvershell Beach

Spragues Cove is a wetland project put together by the Town of Marion and the Buzzards Bay Estuary Project. Its purpose is to protect the shellfish beds in Spragues Cove.
Built in 1995 to prevent rain runoff from Front Street from entering the shellfish beds.

The property is owned by the Town of Marion.

During the summer, a beach sticker is required from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
