SNAKE ALERT IN EFFECT FOR THIS CACHE!!! Contents are kid friendly but area of hide must be approached with caution in the upcoming summer months. The cache is an easy find so don't let the kids run on ahead of you. In rainy weather do not approach from the south EVER!!!!!!
This is an ammo box full of silly stuff we hope kids will like. It is planted with permission on private property.
This cache is a memorial to David J., a friend of ours killed in a ranching accident in January of 2006. The cache is named after his mustang "Hard Times". We think the name fits the placement of this cache and the circumstances as well. Dave always talked about putting a cache in here so we are doing it for him. There is a very special travel bug in with the log book, for the FTF to take and help send on its way. As noted already, PLEASE WATCH FOR SNAKES IN THE AREA.
