Geocache Description:

Small cache above Burney Falls, dedicated to our Pug, Skittles, who is very much still alive!

Pugosaurus!

The Pugosaurus was a dinosaur that had a lizard body, but the head of a pug! Known to be very friendly and playful, they were in constant search for kibble. They were loved by the local cavemen for their funny antics, and scrunched up faces. Awww, arent they cute?

When logging your find, state what kind of dinosaur you imagine. Be creative, and describe what its features and life were like. Have fun with it!

Cache is upstream from Burney Falls, and is within walking distance of:GC1B83Z which is Burney Falls Earth Cache.

There is year round camping at Burney Falls Macarthur State Park with 121 developed sites, as well as as 24 cabins. Call the Park at (530)-335-2777 for rates and reservations.

There is free parking near the cache, or walk over from the Park which has a $6.00 entry fee.

May need to use the hint, as the readings were very jumpy in this area. Also, you do not need to leave the trail. Help preserve the soil and fauna in the area. Thanks.

S.A.R. 29 has graciously agreed to help with cache maintenence (and was FTF!). Thanks!
