This cache is presented as a sequal in my "
The Bacon Factor" series. This cache celebrates all those
character actors that have helped to make the movies great. Many
notable actors have had enduring careers in less prominent, but
important and memorable character parts. A hallmark of many great
character actors is that their names are not widely known yet their
faces or voices are instantly recognizable. Unfortunately, to solve
this cache, you are going to need to come up with some names to go
along with the faces. Some are easy and some are hard. How many of
these folks do you recognize?
Now on to the puzzle...
Many of you have probably
heard of the pop-culture phenomenon known as "The Six Degrees of
Kevin Bacon" but for those of you who haven't, here is a brief
summary...
The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon is
inspired by the stage play Six Degrees of Separation. The premise
of Six Degrees of Separation is that anyone on earth can be
connected to any other person on the planet through a chain of
acquaintances that has no more than four intermediaries. The name,
of course, is a pun on the play's title and its rhyming with
Bacon's name.
This cache requires you to connect a
given set of film actors to Kevin Bacon using as few links as
possible while using the movies they appeared in as the
connections.
I know it all sounds confusing but
the concept is simple. It is fiinding the smallest number of links
that can be difficult. The way you link an actor with Bacon is like
so:

Pick a film actor, any film actor.
-
Link the actor you've chosen to Bacon via the
movies they've shared with other actors until you end up with Kevin
Bacon himself.
Here is an example using Elvis
Presley:
Elvis Presley was in Change of Habit
(1969 ) with Edward Asner. Edward Asner was in JFK (1991 ) with
Kevin Bacon. Therefore Elvis Presley has a Bacon factor of 2.
To solve this Cache, you simply need
to identify the lowest possible Bacon factor for the individuals
pictured below. Good luck and have fun. Please don't give hints in
