This is our 1st hide and we learned a bunch. Cache is located behind an industrial building with a spectacular view of the old El Toro Marine Base and the lower Saddleback Valley. In the old days locals used to park in the vacant land that is now all built up and walk to the ridge to watch the airshow. How I miss the roar of the F-4's, F-18's and the Blue Angels. The sunsets are incredible. Ticks are out in the Spring so be prepared. Also, the building tenant has asked that we don't part in the rear of the building. See waypoint below for parking recommendation.
As you crest the hill look down toward the tents go roughly due west. There is no need to get friendly with the cactus. The coordinates should place you right on top of it.
