Geocache Description:

This cache is a 1L Lock and Lock camoed container. It is located close to where my old "See Dees" cache was located (It has since disappeared). I would enter from above - check out the cool black forest near the cache!

My choir association, Kokopelli traveled to Africa in 2004 and our lives were changed forever. The music in Africa gets in your bones and won't let you go -and the people we met greatly impacted our lives.

This year we decided instead of heading off someplace exotic, we would bring a group to our audiences in Western Canada; a group that would usually not have the means to tour. After a year of fundraising (and through only a tiny bit of corporate fundraising - and that was from Air Namibia!! We tried but corporate Alberta was not interested) we are pleased to have raised the $150 000 required to get our sister choir, the Mascato Youth Choir from Namibia, Africa on to Canadian soil. On Friday April 28th 06 they arrived for a month long tour with my choir throughout Western Canada. This cache celebrates that joyous occasion!.

The cache includes lots of African Loot plus a few special items - please only 1 per cacher. It also includes 2 tickets to Mascatos first cameo appearance in Edmonton.

Namibia is one of my favourite places on this planet - I have several caches there and I love hunting in the desert. This cache includes numerous post cards from South Africa and Namibia including several from Mascato's town of Swakopmund on the Altantic Ocean. Please leave the post cards in this cache for future cachers to enjoy.

CBC Canada is a major media sponsor for this tour and we are thrilled to announce that our two final concerts in Edmonton will be broadcast nationally on both CBC Radio 1 and Radio 2 at a future date.
