I borrowed this type of hide from a cacher south of here. Then it
got me to thinking about the saying “Something borrowed, something
blue”. Isn’t that for a wedding? Then it got me to thinking about
weddings. I have one to go to next week. I really don’t go to many
weddings. My wife LOVES wedding cake. There is just something about
it she craves. That gets me to thinking about pies. I always have a
pie for my birthday. Pie is my favorite. Any fruit pie. Or Rhubarb.
That is what I crave. Ever have Rhubarb pie? Mmmm… Or gooseberry
pie? They are both plants that grow up north. Up North. That makes
me homesick for my youth. When I was a kid, we lived less than 1
mile from the Mississippi in Minnesota. That is where I learned to
swim. There were these gravel pits around. After they got the
gravel that left a big pond that would fill up with water. We would
go down and catch frogs and swim and fish. Real Huckleberry Finn
stuff. We had these neighbors that had 11 kids. Crazy household.
There was always someone to play with. Then Mom moved us to
Wyoming. That’s a new chapter. Stay tuned…
The cache? You are on your own.
