Geocache Description:

A pleasant area to picnic, swim, fish, camp (with permit)or even park your thousand head of cattle overnight. Now you can also grab a cache while checking the area out.

The Cullenbone Travelling Stock Reserve (TSR)is one of many such reserves set aside in the 1800's as tracks extending from early settlement out to grazing lands. TSRs have been reserved for use by travelling stock under legislation and cover more than 600,000 hectares of NSW.

TSRs provide pasture reserves for travelling or grazing stock. These reserves can be especially beneficial in times of drought, bushfire or flood. They are also important for public recreation, conservation and apiary sites.
