A short multi around a newly built dog walking area
We suggest that you park at N53 03.965 W001 07.845 a small layby at the side of the road - not it can get busy during mornings at the weekend.
For Stage 1 of the cache you are looking for a single digit positive number that will enable you to find the second part of the cache. We know some cachers like to miss out stages of multicaches by working out likely sites using maps and mapping software. If you do this here, you will miss what we have written at Stage 1.
The answer we have posted at Stage 1 is PRINTED ON PAPER and uncovered 1 ft from the ground at the cache co-ordinates. When you have the number (A), perform the simple mathematical manipulations below and then plug the answer into the equations to get the co-ordinates for Stage 2.
(i) Multiply (A) by 9
(ii) Reduce the answer from (i) to a one digit number (assuming this is necessary- you’ll have to find (A) to be sure!) by adding the two digits in the answer together (iii) Take 4 from the answer to (ii), which gives you (B).
The co-ordinates for Stage 2 are: N053 03 CDE W001 07 FGH
Numbers (C) to (H) are derived from the formulas below. For any negative answers, ignore the negative sign and use it as a positive number. To add further confusion, the numbers (A) to (H) may or may not be all different- you’ll have to find out for yourselves.
C = B + 4
D = B + 1
E = B - 3
F = B + 3
G = 2B – 5
H = 2B – 6
The co-ordinates for the Final Stage of the cache are in view and uncovered at Stage 2.
