Geocache Description:

This cache is an Off Set cache that will take you to an old country cemetery in Altmar, New York.

The posted coordinates are to a monument that will provide you with all the information that you will need to figure out the coordinates to the actual cache. As with all of the TEAM LANY memorial park and cemetery caches, please be respectful of your surroundings. Take a minute to straighten up fallen flags and pick up litter as you leave.

This cemetery is closed at dusk and the gates will be locked. Plan your caching trip accordingly. The actual cache is a 35mm film container. Please bring your own pen. You do not have to touch any of the grave stones to retrieve the cache. Now for the fun part:

Have fun! The cache is not too far away! Please be sure to rehide it so that it is not visible to 'Mugglers'

Caution: This cemetery is located above the Salmon river. There are large cliffs that border the cemetery that go down to the rivers edge. Please keep an eye on little cachers.
