Geocache Description:

In its day this was a very busy farm crossing into Canada. This cache is located on the IAT which at this point is along the Maine border.

This cache is part of a series of cache locations along the IAT. It is located about 100 meter north of an abandon border crossing. This section of the trail follows a multi use trail heading toward the border crossing in Fort Fairfield 25 km away. There is an IAT sign here stating that it is 3.6 km to River de Chute to the north and 8.3 km to the shelter on top of Mars Hill. Please make sure that the cache is well hidden after you have signed the log. This section is good for hiking, biking or ATV so enjoy the rolling country side.
