Easy cache and dash for the kids
Near this area is a significant drop in the Golden Gate Canal. The water is now being ran through a hydroelectric turbine and no longer will be running down the slide as of July 2010. It is estimated to produce 1/2 megawat of elecricity which will be sold to Idaho Power. This project has been completed through a partnership with Boise Project Board of Control and a local company Riverside Electric inc. out of Parma. This cache is now over 10 years old! Just put a bunch of cool stuff in it! See the pic.
