Geocache Description:

The cache is a white rubbermaid container.

This cache is located in beautiful Shanks Park, a five acre tract of land donated by the Shanks family to the City of Simpson. The Shanks family was a prominent family in this community clear back to when it started in 1871. The town was actually located about a mile south (it is marked Brittsville just south of the river) so go take a look. If you go to Brittsville, once you cross the river look off to the southeast you will see a building with a stone front which is one of the original 1871 store buildings. Okay now back to the cache. This one will be kind of a harrowing experience. If you have someone helping you make sure they don't sit down on the job, because it may make a mess of your find down under.
