Vista La Capilla Traditional Cache
mangas: I am physically unable to maintain this cache, myself, so have removed it from its location. A revamped replacement cache, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, has been place in the same network of trails but in a much more accessible location.

Near town, easy intial access, cache area mildly hilly on developing trail system. This is the Southwest--watch for snakes!
12/27/23: CACHE IS TEMPORARILY REMOVED FOR UPKEEP!! But, will be replaced soon (next two weeks, hopefully) and will still be a plastic locking type box. Pack a picnic lunch for the before/after, as cache is near a lovely seasonal wetland/tree area which had been developed with nice brick walkways leading to several roofed picnic sites with tables and, for a couple of them, charcoal grills. Walkways need some tending, but are still in pretty good shape. Cache itself is away from the picnic area in traditional hiking terrain. Combine this cache experience with that of Boston Hill--enjoy the Hill in the morning, have lunch in the bricked area, and do the easier Vista La Capilla after. The Youth Conservation Corps with Aldo Charter School students deserves credit for the initial development of this area in 2006. Recreated historic chapel across Richard Street to the north, on a high hill, another YCC assisted project, is worth a visit. New cache will have two trackable items: green sneaker keychain SG9MX8, and TRAVEL BUG MBY5W9. HELP THEM ON THEIR WAY!
