An easy drive to a location with spectacular views overlooking Macandrew bay, Dunedin and the Pacific Ocean.
This is a re-incarnation of the Hounds of Penzance which has since been archived. The location is so spectacular with great views in all directions. It is located at the beginning of the walk to Boulder beach so if your energetic carry on down the hill. You can almost grab the cache from the car which may be desirable on a winters day.
On the 16/11/06 it was possible to view the icebergs that drifted up the Otago coast from this site.
