Geocache Description:


Llamas and Whales Cache

This is our second El Capitan Cache.  We come up here every few months and are now huge fans of the El Capitan Canyon Market's coffee and baked goodies, especially the fresh chocolate chip cookies and blueberry bread pudding.  Their pizza isn't half bad either! 

After eating all that goodness, we pick up a trail map on the front door and try to burn some goodness off by hiking on the great trails here.  This cache is along one of those trails, and it is our kids favorite as it takes us to a Llama farm overlooking the Pacific.  We even see whales in the spring and fall.  We can barely manage to get our jogging stroller up the hill, but our three year old makes it up with no problems, so let that be your terrain guide.

The cache is a small Tupperware container hidden at the base of the first tree.

Bring apples!
