An easy cache located along a path in Lopez Village on Lopez Island of the San Juan Islands.
This short, well maintained path in Lopez Village was built by the members of the Lopez Island Mission of Saint Francis Roman Catholic Parish of the San Juans. The trail winds through cedar and alder, and has handmade benches for rest and reflection.
The cache is an easy find right off of the trail. Trail entrances are at 48 31.354 x 122 54.663 and 48 31.395 x 122 54.676. No bushwhacking or crossing private property is required. The tree cover hinders the GPS coverage to a degree, so be reminded that the cache is within easy reach of the trail, and the clue gives a pretty descriptive location.
