Geocache Description:

This is one in a series of caches that have been placed at a site of historical interest in the City of York.As with all city caches, extreme stealth is required. At certain times this area will have lots of muggles. If you are here and cannot safely retreive the cache, please leave and return at a later time. Also, these caches are NOT recommended after dark. Only look for these caches during day light hours.

It will be a problem trying to retreive this cache on a Sunday morning.

The Meeting House of the Religious Order of Friends was built in 1766 by William Willis, a noted English Mason. It has been in continuous use by the Quakers since it's construction. The western half of the building was completed in 1783. It is the oldest existing house of worship in York.
