Geocache Description:

Parking at the west side of the road, houses to the east. Nice and easy find.

Found this place about a month ago and just made my way out today to place a cache. This is one of Hancock County's old cemeteries. Unfortunately, it has not been well kept. There is a dump pile near the front of the cemetery that I'm hoping we'll all be able to make disappear. All you need to do is just take one piece of trash with you. If you have a truck...that trash might have to be a tire though!

You can still read some of the headstones, but must of them have been knocked over and are illegible. Several of the deaths are from the mid 1800's. Saw a headstone for a child that died at 1 day. There is also a headstone close to the cache that was for a War soldier. I believe his name was J. A. Chappell.

The cache container is a cammoed match safe. The trees are large in the area and you might have a hard time getting a good reading....I'm sure I did!
