After enjoying the view form the Blackstacks, follow the AT in the direction of Bearwallog Gap and keep hiking...and hiking to the ridge trail. After a few steep and rocky inclines, the trail will be lined on both sides by mountain laurel and beautiful views (TN on one side and NC on the other).
The cache is large, camoflaged, and less that 10' from the trail. This is a great half day excursion so consider taking a camera and packing a lunch. You are likely to meet a few AT through hikers so pack some extra fresh fruit or cookies and be a Trail Angel.
If the incredible views aren't incentive enough, the cache is loaded with lots of nice items geared towards the hiker/outdoor person. PLEASE consider this if you plan to trade and bring appropriate trade items.
