The cache is a small screw top container.
This is our favorite [only] lunch spot when doing the Daves Creek Circuit walk from Binna Burra. The 270 deg views of mountains, the Numinbah valley and the Gold Coast in the distance make the walk even more worthwhile. The walk is like all the graded tracks in this area fairly straight forward. The terrain difficulty is only applicable to the approach to and climb to the top of the rock.
On the way to the rock stop at S28 13 289 E 153 12 911 for a view over the Numinbah valley. [note the stump just crying out for a cache, maybe next trip]
The cache is hidden on top of the rock but not near any edges. It can be found without scrambling around, hanging over the edge or performing any heroics.
The top of the rock is very spacious and can accomodate as many people as required. Best access is from the northern end but a scramble up the other end, where the sign is, is possible.
Please keep any Geokids in mind as the dropoffs from all sides of the rock are too far for a good landing.
