_________________________________________________________________________ Deutsch: Das Dorf Bachenhausen wird zwischen 784 und 810 zum ersten Mal in einer Urkunde als "Peihhinhusir" (Haus des Peihhin) genannt. Am Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts gehörte es bis zur Gebietsreform zur Gemeinde Lauterbach im Landkreis Freising. Bachenhausen liegt in der Talsenke des Rettenbachs an einem nördlich ansteigenden Hang und weist, mit Ausnahme neuerer Wohnbebauung südlich der Kreisstraße, nur landwirtschaftliche Anwesen auf. Die Kapelle "Zur schmerzhaften Muttergottes" wurde um 1820 erbaut und 1997 renoviert. _________________________________________________________________________ English: The village Bachenhausen is mentioned as "Peihhinhusir" (House of Peihhin) between 784 and 810 for the first time in a document. In the beginning of the 19th century it belonged to the municipality of Lauterbach in the district of Freising up to the area reform. Bachenhausen is situated in the valley sink of the creek Rettenbach near a slope up to the north and has only agricultural buildings, except for the newer residential zone south of the district road.
